end of assessments =D

yay...end of the period of assessments..now only ext english left =/ that I shall do during holidays, a music essay =( and phys home prac to do... however, since its the hols.. i've decided that I shall actually study these holidays cos I'm seriously dumb.

i frikkin hate english...i guess i dont have much excuse to rant cos i kinda didnt start preparing until last night, but then isnt that what i always do and how i usually roll =/ but i guess this time...i kinda had an analysis on one text and not on the other cos i was away for the number of lessons he spent on it. ><" sigh...this is uber depressing...D= yhh, i dont care about english anymore....time to study for 2u maths cos i need to do well =) no more ranting...=(

ok, seriously must stop being procrastinative...cos yhh adv english assessment is kinda tomoro...and considering how we're allowed to bring in a prepared sheet, i should really ace this cos as many know..i don't write practise essays unless its been deemed absolutely necessary by a teacher, instead i usually have a prepared sheet of ideas and the techniques/quotes as well as random words or phrases that associate with that idea, and i just tend to study my sheet which I usually prepare the night before =) hehehe...ok, seriously, must shuttup and go make this sheet which I've vowed to do for the last 3 days already ><"

public transport fail...

earlier today on my way home from Truong (don't all my Saturday posts seem to somehow relate back to Truong ><"), i had a day of both smiles and frowns =/

good news first...the automatic ticket machine thing sold me a ticket for negative dollars... so i put a ten dollar note into the machine to pay for a $1.60 ticket...then as i collected my ticket it showered coins in the change/ticket collection hole thing and the coins totalled up to $16.90 hehehe... free money (Y) and since i'm asian i kept it =D

then ofc when i got to Granville to change trains...i frowned, there was track work on some random lines and since cityrail is quite the cityfail, they hadn't erected the yellow signs about track-work at granville and so everyone kinda just mingled at the platform listening to some curry guy on the PA system saying "the train at platform x is terminating, please do not board" without really telling anyone what was happening..it was not until i went up that i finally saw officially that there was trackwork..and so had to catch some stupid broken crap bus. This bus was like a coach-style one, and so had like air-con above the seats which could be adjustable..only that the plastic cover over it was completely ripped off almost every vent leaving just a hole...initially it was fine, but like 2 minutes into the ride, the driver decided to turn on the A/C to full and hence i sat there being blasted by extremely cold air on an already extremely cold morning...

by the time i got to parra, i missed my bus already and had to wait like 20 minutes for the bus (the one i have to walk like 2k) yhh, sad face =(

maths...

i really hate maths...absolutely hate it D= like seriously...that gay uber troll test. ok maybe not troll..just i hate maths and it was harder than i expected...in other words i failed. =( how depressing...

its not as easy as ii sounds to do...sometimes we simply walk past cos we dont have time, fear of being looked down upon for helping some stranger, or just cant be bothered, yet sometimes one small act of kindness can mean a lot to someone.

well, heres a little something that my english tutor showed me and its rather powerful~

time...

what do you define time as? well, however you define it, we don't seem to have enough of it... so anyway, since I was bored, I decided to write down my theoretical schedules for my days, as advised by teachers, tutors and yhh them...it comes out like this:
- 6 hours Truong maths revision/day
- 1 hour music (ameb not school) theory/day
- 3 hours piano practice/day
- 7.5 hours school (incl transport)/ weekday
- 1 to 2 hours school hw (apparently thats what we're supposed to do as minimum)/weekday

that totals to a grand total of: 18.5 to 19.5 hours/schoolday.. or 10 hours/on weekends.. not including various tutorings, sport, piano lessons, and assignment times either... meaning technically I get like 4 hours of sleep assuming that it takes like 2 minutes to wake up and get ready == and I'm sure many people will prolly have to cram even more events into their schedule...

like my english tutor says, time: am infinite resource, yet we still don't have enough of it =(

integration test TT_TT

i failed another Truong test TT_TT although i kinda knew i did badly cos i left bits out of the formula =/ anyways, my aim next time... to get over 50% =) though highly unlikely...sigh oh well... i'm a fail kid =(

similarly, i got my report yesterday and i have mixed feelings i guess though more so based on the negative side... like how my rents made the comment about my maths marks..i got a 'B' (which equates to a fail already..no matter what mark it is) in 2u maths =.= and an 'A' in 3u maths...><" i'm amazingly retarded =(

anyway, i have yet to complete chem...which i must complete tonight

hehe...this was like 2 days ago but mehhh..zone day 2 was less wet than day 1 but still wet =( and instead of pulling out of my races i ran =) stark difference...anyone nothing much happened except that 17's+ boys relay smashed =D nothing else happened..

and to what i remember, the last 5 athletic zone carnivals I've been to have always been wet...either it rains on the day, or it rains extremely the night before =( today...was a combination of both and was quite interesting..NOT! it just rained extremely hard there today and the place was kinda soaked already when we got there...

not a very good photo...but what appears to be fog is actually very heavy and thick rain..

anyway whilst doing chem...i found an interesting sentence on wikipedia... peer support

so peer support picnic was a good fun day, and marks the end of the program but the friendships shall remain (I hope) =D its amazing to see them all grow so much in less than half a year...i  remember on the first day of school, when we walked into the gym and all of you were separated into groups, sitting in dead silence...it was quite eerie but now all of you have become the crazy little kids who run around and do silly things =D but remember youth doesn't last forever, so seize your opportunities and have fun! =) like Henry Longfellow once said "Youth comes but once in a lifetime"

I can't think if any trivial facts so...
riddle me this: I have oceans with no water, deserts with no sand, forests with no trees and houses with no bricks. what am i? (and those who know this from the bus ride this morning... shush!) =)

Langlang Masterclass

hehehe... last night, went to see Langlang teach three kids on piano and omg he's pro... like the fantasie impromptu from previous post... he played bits today =D and he didn't even look at the keys... what a pro.. and he has very fobby english too xD he's a very cool guy.. and very worth the experience =)

hehehe... i finished my music composition at last =) but since i havnt discovered how to upload/embed audio onto blogger, i shan't put it up for the public to criticise =) anyway, i havnt had much to blog about... nothing in particular has happened in the recent past other than physics test and that was kinda ok-ish... anyways, i cbb typing in this horribly cold weather so i'll leave with some random facts that i remember and have been going round telling everyone =)

lol, i dunno why i seem to encounter some form of unpleasantry on public transport every saturday ><" but today, there was this old asian man who pressed the stop button for every stop since departing from parra station =.= this happened to go for i think almost 20 stops before he actually got off.. luckily the bus driver was some really nice american guy =) and he didnt say a thing to that man and was actually really nice =) though, kinda felt sorry for him...

anyway, despite how cheery i might sound, i am quite the opposite...i stuffed up truong integration test so badly and didnt finish and what nots...TT_TT i'm not in the mood to even rant about it.. yhh, i think i shall call him tomoro and chat with him ><"

ohhh and chopin =D

i totally forgot...but many days ago, i had a discussion about chopin and his pieces with a certain friend...nocturnes are extremely nice but seriously i still think this is his best piece even though he wrote it at age 24...and hated his own composition that today is literally a piece that symbolises him =) yhh, little facts that are not important but interesting and i'm sure the majority of you have heard of it =) here goes...fantasie impromptu and chopin master yundi li =D hehehe...i'm pretty my certain friend knows this piece..or i'll de-friend you!

ohh and this version of him playing seems really exaggerated but that's typical of romantic period pieces and...the only reason i took this version of him playing was cos you can see his fingers flying over the piano =D

i must admit that today's welfare day was probably one of the best ones i've had =) it brought up many things to think about and wasn't all talk, it involved quite a lot of movement (especially in the form of dancing) but yhh when the guy did talk, it was interesting and mentally challenging at times. ohh, and great ropes crossing..not! anyways, all this about spreading love and making the world a better place reminded of primary school choir songs and one in particular that has never actually left my mind since, i still remember the lyrics to it too =D

and now i shall go math study for multiple tests TT_TT
