Well it was earlier on when i had an animated dicussion with my cousins on the beauty of classical music...it actually turned rather heated..but yes, it made me realise something strange for true (well its true for me at least). Over the past few years as i've gained musical experience in different instruments, i've begun to actually 'hear' pieces differently. I know for a fact that i used to only remember or even observe the singular melody of a piece. However, during these last few years, the experiences i've gained from playing on the flute, percussion, piano and oboe...i now find myself with the ability to enjoy the full strength of pieces, in particular orchestral pieces. I find it instinct to actually listen to each individual part and put them together =) and its quite a satifying experience =) but i guess thats not the case for everyone..ok, seriously no more musical rambling for today =/
